They work hard in order to maintain their hard earned figures or make every effort to get back to shape if they gain weight along the way. Below are some ways on how they do it:

Famous Exercise Instructor and Champion Lorna Kleidman Responds to Weight Loss Study for Post-Pregnant Women

“The expectation of getting back into your skinny jeans within weeks of delivery is ludicrous,” The Huffington Post quoted Adrienne Youdim, MD. “At the same time,” Youdim notes, “childbearing is a common period when young women are vulnerable to gaining weight that is never lost.”

The Huffington Post reports “Gaining too much weight increases a mother’s chance of developing diabetes, high blood pressure and pre-eclampsia, and of needing a Cesarean section. It also sets her children up for health problems. Research shows that these offspring are more than four times at risk of being overweight at age 3 than those whose mothers gained an appropriate amount of weight.”

“Weight loss can be a struggle for most,” comments Lorna Kleidman, Three-time kettlebell champion. “I meet many women who struggle with weight loss and tell me that they wish that they could look like the women on the cover of magazines. I encourage woman to eat healthfully and exercise to their potential; working hard and persevering is what delivers results.”

One of the best methods to maintain a healthy weight, reports The Huffington Post, is to exercise throughout pregnancy. Sarah Kilpatrick, MD, chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, commented on celebrity weight loss stating, “e realistic. To expect to take all of your weight off in less than six months is just adding more stress that you don’t need.”

Catherine Zeta-Jones shares her diet and 'obsessive' fitness secrets

"I don't have a trainer," announced Catherine, according to the December issue of InStyle magazine. "Crazy, right? But I don't need anyone to motivate me. I love exercise, even things like the elliptical and stretching." But her real love: Hula-hooping. "I'm obsessed with hula-hooping," confessed Catherine. "I do it for 20 minutes a day. I don't use the old-fashioned hollow plastic kind we had when we were kids, but I discovered a new one at Danskin that's smaller and weighted." In addition to hooping, Catherine swims "at least 45 minutes a day, seven days a week."

As for her diet, Catherine seeks to be healthy most of the time. "I don't deny myself food. I'm no saint. I love butter and cream, but I also eat lots of grains and fruits," she told InStyle. As an actress in an industry that worships beauty and tends to use "you can never be too thin" as a mantra, Catherine defines glamorous in an unusual way. "Being glamorous is about strength and confidence. It's black and white - dramatic. You have to be strong."

Drew Barrymore and Kimberley Snyder talk weight loss on the red carpet

"I wanted to come here and support Kim," she said. "I love her, and as a new mom, I live and worship her program. She is such an amazing woman and I’m so happy to have a place like this I can come to.” Drew said she makes Snyder’s juice and smoothies at home, but is excited to have the juice bar to go to now.

Snyder says she’s been helping Barrymore get rid of the baby weight. "She does the program, and she eats all my food and she is great!" What does the nutritionist suggest for weight loss? "My approach is just balancing back to nature," she said. "I recommend whole food like the glowing green smoothie, which is the foundation of my program. A lot of greens and a lot of plant foods like vegetables."

The articles above give us a glimpse of their slimming techniques that are  not used on our boot camp in the UK. I like the article about Jessica Simpson's regimen. However, it would have been good if  more details were given so we can at least try it on our own. The article on post pregnancy is also good because it shows a more realistic view of losing weight after pregnancy. I admire Catherine Zeta-Jones' definition of beauty, it gives a refreshing insight to a world dominated by glamour and outward beauty.
